When looking at something new you don't get afraid right away. It's not until we internalize it. As you internalize this thought fear, anxiety rise up. What we usually don't do 99% of the time is combat that self doubt with self confidence. The bible tells us many times not to worry not to have anxiety because it does bad things to the body.
When you internalize those thoughts negative thought you do more harm.
Hear are some scriptures you can combat those thoughts with scriptures
"when anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought joy to my soul." -Psalm 94:19
"An anxious heart weighs a man down, but a king word cheers him up." -Proverbs 12:25
"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of it own."-Matthew 6:34
"And I am convinced that nothing can every separate us from God's love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow not even the power of hell can separate us from God's love- Romans 8:38-39
"I want you to be free from anxieties"- 1 Corinthians 7:32
" Say to those who have an anxious heart, Be strong; fear not! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God. He will come and save you." Isaiah 35:4
"And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?" - Matthew 6:27
"Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you."- 1 Peter 5:7
" Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known to God." - Philippians 4:6
"when the righteous cry for help, the lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles."
therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
A former co worker of mine recently announced a challenge that I saw that was very good. When you look at a challenge you have to see if and how it will work for you. I'm a visional person. so I was looking at what my day to day would look like. Once you internalize somethings whether it's works for you to do the challenge or not. The next step would be to build yourself up if you know it good for you. Scripture is a very powerful resource that is under used by so many people struggling to take a step in faith.

No television
No video games
No secular music
No secular newspapers or magazines
Try to limit conversations to being about Christ
No Social Media
No random phone conversations
Everything should be done for the purpose of drawing you closer to God

No Sweets
Week 3
15th-21th
No Sweets and No Meats/ No Media
Juice and Vegetables are allowed
Week 4
22th-28th
No sweets, No meats, No juice, No media, Vegetables only!
